Alamo Economic Development Corporation welcomes you to join our Meet Me in Alamo campaign that encourages people to shop locally. We love the community we work for and want to show appreciation for the local mom-and-pop shops that make our town unique.
What’s the Meet Me in Alamo Campaign Entail?
We offer free T-shirts to individuals participating in our campaign that help invigorate the community to shop small. Here is everything you need to know about earning some Alamo EDC swag.
What to Do in the City of Alamo
● Shop or eat at three different businesses in the city of Alamo, and save the receipts
● Take a photo at each business location and post it on Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram. Be sure to follow, and #tag us!
● Show us all three receipts and photos taken and posted on social media, and you’ll earn your Meet Me In Alamo swag!
Get your shirts while supplies last, so shop small today.
Why Shop Local?
Our small businesses make what makes the city of Alamo so original. Big corporations and companies tend to steal most of the business away from small-town restaurants and shops, becoming the leading cause of business closure. We want to spread awareness and incentivize people to help their fellow citizens stay afloat and flourish by purchasing from local businesses. Contribute to the growth and development of our beautiful city and shop small.
Why We Are Promoting Our Campaign
● Keeping money within the city
● Promote city-wide growth
● Creating and helping sustain jobs in Alamo
● Invest in city developments
We want to help create a welcoming and enriching space for local businesses to thrive. Give back to your city, and keep local businesses alive.
