Alamo is a vibrant city with enormous potential. Being a part of the fifth largest Metropolitan Statistical Area in Texas, Alamo has various perks for businesses looking to locate to this vibrant city. With a business concept to build more interest in the community, the Alamo EDC knew that the best people to help with this endeavor were the very students who live here.
Partnered with the Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Independent School District and Imagine It Studios, the Alamo EDC enlisted the aid of Ms. Valerie Garza’s Marketing Class at Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Memorial High School.
Flourishing Creativity for the Future
As a class project, PSJA Memorial High School students will embark on a campaign to create better marketplace visibility for the community through social media platforms. Mentoring these future marketing professionals, Imagine It Studios explained the power of marketing, the creativity it entails and how it can impact the community. In collaboration with students, the Alamo EDC is allowing them the creativity to flourish and build confidence for their futures.
