Eat, Drink and Be Scary: The City of Alamo’s Annual Fall Festival

2015_halloween_flyerA waning moon in a dark sky is your only light; glees of delight mixed with screams of terror greet your ear. A ghastly laugh is heard in the distance and the aroma of devilish sweets makes its way to your eager senses.

This is what’s to be expected at the City of Alamo’s Annual Fall Festival. Now in its sixth year, the festival is a must-see for any family. Sure to entertain those of any age, it has something for everyone.

Pick Your Poison

A Haunted House by the city’s very own fire department will entrance any visitor brave enough to come face to face with nightmarish ghouls. A candy giveaway by Alamo’s Police Department will delight any child (or adult refusing to pass up free candy).

If you have little ones in tow, kiddie rides will be present so your pint-sized ghost or goblin can enjoy the festival as well. Along with live music, food and drink vendors beseeching you to try their latest concoctions, there will be plenty to experience.

Don’t forget the most important detail of all; come in costume! There will be a costume contest for anyone wanting to show off their stylish duds. Whether it’s you, your petite pirate or little princess who wants in on the fun, don’t miss out!

Stop in for a Spell

Come out and enjoy a night with your community in the downtown area of Alamo in Central Park. Each year’s festival is always better than the last, so don’t ghost out on this opportunity! The festival will be held on Saturday, October 31st from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
