Pollito & Vaquita: Mesquite Grilled Delicioso

Pollito & Vaquita began as an alternative to fast food, adopting a strict regiment of quality dishes and a commitment to health while staying true to their casual atmosphere with quick and friendly service. With these standards, it’s no wonder Pollito & Vaquita has been in business in Alamo for over five years.

In the Kitchen

At Pollito & Vaquita, each chicken is marinated with a secret traditional recipe, then grilled with fresh ingredients and Mexican flavors. Pollito & Vaquita considers offering customers healthy options as the only choice while maintaining the best roasted traditions and cultures from Mexico. Accompanying your grilled chicken are side dishes and sauces with genuine Mexican flavors.

About Us

Pollito & Vaquita first opened its doors in Alamo in 2011 and has since become one of the city’s favorite eateries. Pollito has a team with the initiative and social responsibility for offering their customers the best quality, service and fine dining experience possible.

Pollito’s original location is in Mission and has since opened five locations in the Rio Grande Valley. Located in the heart of Alamo, the wonderful aromas and essences are detectable throughout the city’s busiest street.

Striving for Excellence

Pollito & Vaquita has made it a point to keep their food “from the farm to the table.” Operations Manager Oscar Garza said, “When we first opened, there wasn’t a restaurant where you could get fresh, delicious chicken fast at a great price. And that is why we opened up Pollito & Vaquita.”

From family recipes and great ingredients, Pollito & Vaquita has and will stay a beloved destination in Alamo for generations to come.
