3 Popular Summer Programs That Are Sure to Bring Countless of Potential Customers to Alamo

The Sgt. Fernando de la Rosa Reading Program

Keep your kids learning and traveling through the world of books! The Sgt. Fernando de la Rosa Memorial Library will be hosting a summer reading program from June 5th until July 28th, Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. To make things easier for parents, the program will be providing lunch. Please keep in mind that activities will vary daily. Alamo Municipal Pool

What’s the best way to cool off from the summer heat? By taking a dip in the pool, of course! This summer, the Alamo Municipal Swimming Pool will be hosting swimming lessons and accepting general admission.

Swimming classes will be held from:

  • June 6th through June 16th
  • June 20th through June 30th
  • July 4th through July 14th
  • July 18th through July 28th

Each session will have two morning classes (9:00 AM through 9:45 AM and 10:00 AM through 10:45 AM) and an evening class (6:00 PM through 6:45 PM). The pool will be open daily starting on June 3rd through August 13th from 1:00 PM until 5:45 PM. Admission will be $1.25.

The pool also includes a large covered and lighted pavilion, eight picnic tables, a large barbeque pit, large umbrellas and three waterslides.

The Boys & Girls Club of Alamo-San Juan

Do your kids love sports, board games and more? If so, then the Boys & Girls Club of Alamo-San Juan will be hosting a summer program beginning on June 5th until August 4th, Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Breakfast and lunch meals will be provided. The registration fee is $70 for members and $80 for non-members. For more information, contact the club at 956.782.5437.
